I booked Chef Jeff to prepare an intimate family dinner for my dad’s 75th birthday. From start to finish, Jeff’s service and attention to detail were impeccable. He made himself available to discuss options for the menu and was incredibly easy to work with. On the evening of the event, Jeff took care of everything, even washing dishes and cleaning up at the end of the night. Chef Jeff and Chef Hector combined to set an unbelievable bar for our next in-home dining experience. Fortunately for us, we will have to give them a chance to hit it again. Chef Samoska provided dishes that were visually stunning. They were composed of bright herbs, savory sauces, delectable maple candied bacon, toasted sourdough bites topped with olive oil, whipped burrata, and fresh baby heirloom tomatoes.

From small bites (think deviled eggs with yolks whipped to perfection with a hint of pickled tang and truffled chives) to the entrée (tarragon-lemon chicken served on a bed of al dente pasta with freshly grated parmesan cheese, lightly dusted with tri-color peppercorn), our guests enjoyed the quality of the ingredients, the perfectly balanced flavors- and how attentive the service was. A standing ovation.

Truly a wonderful experience – easy to work with, delicious food perfectly presented. Spotless kitchen afterwards. Just like magic! Guests included NOLA locals & they declared absolutely the best gumbo they’d had EVER. A real treat. Highly highly recommend!

We were delighted to have chef Jeff come into our home and prepare a meal for my milestone birthday. We requested a Latin themed cuisine and were not disappointed. Every dish was simply delicious from the beginning appetizers to the dessert. We especially love the fact that he explained the dish before serving and how it was made. He has a wide range of knowledge of various cuisines – French, Indian, Asian, Italian, Vegan, etc. – and is happy to adjust any dish to your particular taste. He is very professional and we are so grateful to have delicious home-cooked meals by a professional chef every week!

I have been working with Chef Jeff since November 2020.  He created a unique vegan menu for my family, broken down in categories of meal type and cuisine.  We love his refined take on vegan food and his dishes, flavors and presentations have continued to delight us each week!  Not only are his menus creative, but he is also very flexible with the special requests we often have.  Chef Jeff is very professional and easy to work with.  He adjusts to our schedule, our feedback and menu changes as needed.  Above all else, his food is delicious and really gives us the restaurant quality experience we enjoy!  I would highly recommend Chef Jeff for any personal or private chef needs you have.

Chef Jeff helped start Local Group Brewing in early 2020, hired on as Executive Chef in late 2019 he built the menu from scratch using locally sourced and thoughtful ingredients whenever possible. His dedication to his craft and the guests experience was unquestioned which made him easy to manage. Having also entered a few competitions for Local Group he also showed a passion to create various dishes on the fly.
